Monetex Group

The Monetex Group consists of two entities:
Monetex Canada
(authorized Money Service Business)
Monetex Europe
(In the process of obtaining authorization from the Central Bank of Cyprus as an electronic money institution)

Monetex Canada

Incorporated in Canada (British Columbia) and is registered as a Money Service Business (MSB) with the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC)

Monetex Canada is currently registered for two MSB activities

  • Money transferring
  • Foreign exchange dealing
Monetex Canada is already operational and can offer its services to clients.

Monetex Europe

Incorporated in Cyprus and is in the process of obtaining authorization from the Central Bank of Cyprus as an electronic money institution (EMI) in the European Union.

Monetex Europe is not yet operational. The expectation is to obtain the license by the end of 2023.

Wider group
Monetex is part of a wider Group (international real estate and financial services group) established in 1999 with over €100m annual revenue and over €220m in net assets.
